Monday Morning Coming Down

In response to the prompt, "If you could interview anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?" one of my students wrote:
"I would interview my grandma. Because I would like to know what it was like to live in the 1980s. Like what did they wear back then, and what did they drive?"
The 1980s.
Numerical dyslexia or not- it gave me a flash-flood feeling of being old. Watching the tail end of full-house the other day just emphasized it. Oh DJ Tanner and your conservative sweaters...

In other news, I have so much grading to do this week I am not sure I will have time to breathe. Cross your fingers for me that me and my fourth period class start getting along soon.
